Redevelopment news, Brynmor Jones Library, University of Hull: Floor 3 opens

·         The redeveloped 3rd Floor of the tower opens today, Monday, 7 October

·         The 3rd floor contains books on Engineering, Medicine, Sciences and Technology.  More details can be found at http://www2.hull.ac.uk/lli/pdf/where-are-the-books-now.pdf

·         The 3rd floor provides 190 study spaces, including both individual study spaces and informal seating, 47 PCs and four bookable group study rooms.  As in all new parts of the Library, you will find an information point and printing, photocopying, scanning and recycling facilities

·         We expect the 4th Floor of the tower to open on Monday, 14 October.  This will be confirmed next week.  The 4th floor contains books on Anthropology, Geography, History and Politics

·         As previously announced, books from the 6th Floor of the tower will be moved to their temporary location in the ground floor decant area from Monday 7 October to Friday 18 October
